Station Break
m’kay.
So I picked up a pattern for my friend Morgan today, and while I was at it thought to myself “Self? Why do you not go on the Great Yarn Hunt for that skein of yarn you have been lusting looking for?”
You see, I’ve been wanting this lovely yarn that is a variegated yellow. I’ve since found that it is a Yarntini colourway. Can I find it on Loopy Ewe or Sweet Sheep? Nope. Yarntini’s site is similarly unhelpful. Seems that everyone has bought all the yellow they have, and there is no more (at least for the time being).
I have checked to see if there are any other yellows out there that appeal…but after looking at every single bloody shade of magenta under the sun, with cyan a close second. Very little yellow that isn’t mixed with about three other rosy or blueish colours. Piss me off.
So yeah. Strangely enough, we need better yellows. If there are any Dye-ers out there reading this? Yellow. Please.

Hmm, I went through the same thing with orange recently. Never did find anything I liked. I think this is why I knit mostly in blues, though I really do like orange best.
Good luck on your yellow quest!
