Good day, friends!
I hail from a long line of Makers: Crafters and traditional fine artists, sewists, yarn enthusiasts, woodworkers, fibre artists, a sculptor, and possibly even a milliner. As a lifetime Maker, I enjoy exploring all these artistic spaces. My interests range from fibre and yarn arts such as knitting, crochet, spinning, etc; to historically adequate (and sometimes downright inaccurate) fashion. I’ve also dabbled in tatting, chainmail, and other three-dimensional arts and crafts.
I am not always the most competent Maker, which almost always leads to some sort of fun!
The one constant thread is adventure. Please join me as I delve down the rabbit hole of art and craft. We’ll try to make stops along the way for snacks and pop culture breaks. After all, you need something to watch while knitting that sock!
