We are totally exhausted. Today was spent in preparation for Christmas. We got up early and started cleaning the main floor of the house. Most of the counters are clean, the floor is scrubbed…even the table is almost prepared. I even have a very sweet husband making my dinner in the kitchen (Yay! Meatlog! …er…Meatloaf….).
It’s all in preparation for something like this next weekend. We’re planning on putting up the tree and getting things moving.
Until then, though, I’m ticking away at Robin’s socks. I’m almost finished the foot, and then it’s on to the toe. I hate to say it, but I’ll almost be happy when these are done so that I can knit just a plain, ordinary pair of socks. There’s even a single sock that I finished that I’m considering ripping back so that I can try out my friend Chelsea’s favourite toe-up heel method.
However, since it’s been such a busy day, I’ve got a nice hot bubble bath and a nice cold drink waiting. And a kitty who really wants to play in the bath water…
