So on Wednesday (but published on Thursday for you folks who are sticklers) I alluded to the fact that the Camouflage Socks are finished (well, not exactly allusion, since I outright stated it, but it was a good opportunity to use a $20 word in a sentence)
And with that, the official August socks are done and off the needles. This is a wonderfully simple and predictable pattern. I’m now blazing through the stripey socks in hopes of having them done soonish as I want to get back to the sweater and some designwork. There are now TWO sock designs in the works, so I need to step it up.
Luckily for me, I have some time off in addition to my normal weekend. I plan on doing some cleaning around here and getting some knitting done. Sounds nice and relaxing. I think I’m getting ready for my autumn nesting period.
I finished off The Mind Robbers last night. Next up? The Seeds of Death, also with the Second Doctor. We’ll see what I wind up referencing *this* one as…
