My family in the Arctic sent me a lovely Advent calendar! Each little envelope contains a mini skein of Soft N’ Shiny Midnight Sun or Twilight Wool.

With the recent release of the movie 'Doctor Sleep', the book has been on my mind. I wrote a rambling review today that also includes my own ranting about book prices.

Ah well. At least it gave me a chance to create a pretty awesome looking still-life with one of our hardcover copies!

The weather around here is getting downright impulsive. Ten minutes ago we had sun. Then a low-vis flurry storm rolled in. Wacky.
